Tiles
With such a wide and flexible range of shapes, sizes, colour and type, this is the most popular material for pitched roofs.
Low Pitched Roofs
A low-pitched roof is designed with a pitch between 10° and 35°. Anything below the 10° marker is considered a flat roof. Low-pitched roofs are usually applied to extensions or similar builds. Low pitched roofs have tiles specifically designed for them such as the Mendip and Centurion.
Finishing Touches
Dry Ridge is a modern practice of ridge system which no longer uses cement. This system provides ventilation through the membrane whilst creating a waterproof and weatherproof roof ridge. It is fixed to the roof with screws and clamps with waterproof unions beneath the screws to divert water.
Dry Verge is a similar system to Dry Ridge in that cement is no longer used to fix the verges to the roof. Dry verge systems can offer substantial weather resistance and act as a second mechanical fixing as they are fixed into the battens. They are also appealing to many as they provide a neat visual aesthetic.
Bonding Tray is made from GRP Fibreglass and is used to join dissimilar roof coverings, for example, slate to tile or two different tile types. It is completed with an integral mortar bonding strip.
